When we started, we had a dozen tabs open and no idea which ones to trust. This site is the friend we wish we’d had.
PLACEHOLDER: the family’s story, in your own words. Who you are, when and why you started homeschooling, your kids’ ages (if you’re comfortable sharing), what a normal week looks like, and what you wish you’d known in the first month. Only real experiences; nothing invented.
Why this site exists
We built Choice Homeschool to tell you what we actually used, what we only researched, and exactly where the rules come from. Secular or faith-based, full-time or squeezed around a job, you’re welcome here.
How we keep it honest
- Every program says whether our family used it or only researched it.
- Every state law page links to the statute and the state’s own guidance, and shows the date we last checked it.
- Every price shows the date we checked it.
- Some links earn us a commission. We say so before the first one on the page, and we list every partner in public.
- No fake reviews, star ratings, testimonials or trust badges. Ever.
